For a little while now I’ve been playing with Duolingo. I also watch some relevant YouTube videos, and many of those pitch me language programs other than Duolingo.
However as a curiosity level side quest of life, Duolingo is fine for my speed. I picked languages to be a challenge, to cover many people, and to keep my brain exercised (Chinese and Spanish).
I think I’m to the point of realising that I need to think in the language during use of it, and immerse in more conversational speech of it.
