So recently I decided to get back into looking after my AWS resources a bit. Why?
- It was a mess of old images, servers, etc and while I wasn’t paying much for them, it was still confusing clutter.
- In case my AWS region/zone falls over, to ensure I have key server images stored elsewhere in the world.
I’m lucky in that such servers aren’t holding important new real-time data – so weekly reimages are sufficient.
