Lenny is kind of an internet meme for those trying to deal with scam callers (there’s also a Lenny Face meme but meh whatever). It’s been around for some time, and is a very funny, very simple solution to dealing with scam callers that may not stop pestering.
It’s basically a simplified chat bot, that simply starts playing the next in a predefined list of audio responses once a pause is detected from the scammer. It mimics a senile old man called Lenny who likes to ramble and can’t seem to keep his focus.
I’m going to see if I can find a way to host my own “Lenny” (PABX) server.
