My latest fascination has been mycelium. It’s the underground component of mushrooms etc, and it turns out it’s a sustainable option for a lot more that just food.
The more I’ve looked into it the more uses have appeared. As well as food there’s construction, clothing, insulation, and more. It’s carbon negative and biodegradable.
