In slowly progressing through the Project GEMS+ MS exercise study, I’m feeling like I’m approaching the exercise hump, where afterwards it gets easier to progress. To stick to the rules of the study and the group I’ve been assigned however, I can’t progress my non walking exercises too far too fast (which suits me in the walking arena).
However I’m beginning to feel like I want to do more, to push myself to improve. I’ll abide by the study rules to keep their data usable, however I think as soon as the study ends I’ll expand my exercise repertoire.
I just hope that enough such improvement will start to rub off on my walking ability (foot drop stamina, and coordination). While I doubt I’ll ever run again, a brisk walk for more than 5-10 minutes would be nice.
