Since embracing IFTTT, WeMo et al I’m always on the lookout for new services that can relieve the everyday tech tedium. Enter (most lately) PushBullet.
When I arrive at work I’d love to get all my Twitter, Google+ etc notifications on my desktop, read them, and mark them as read without having to dig out the phone every time – and without having to enable/disable anything on arrival/leaving.
Enter PushBullet. It does more than just that, of course. It allows you to seamlessly share content between devices, including files and the clipboard. Pretty cool.
I particularly like how it even shows who’s calling when the phone rings (it IS a notification, after all).
