So recently I passed some personal MS proactive rehab milestones, and decided to reward myself with a fitness tracker. After much research into battery life, functionality and reliability (oh and price) I settled on the Amazfit Bip from Xiaomi.
I’d previously owned a Xiaomi Mi band 1 and it was bombproof and amazing, so I was confident in the build quality.
The battery life has been even better than expected (especially since I have it alert on calls, texts and messages, do daily alarms, take my heart rate every 30 10 minutes and monitor my sleep). About the only thing I don’t bother with is recording specific exercise sessions with it.
The companion phone app is still quirky but better than I expected, and all health data auto syncs from it to Google Fit anyway.
So far the battery is at 30% after almost 17 days use as listed above.
UPDATE: I ended charging it (which took a couple hours) when it dropped to 9% – after 22 days!
UPDATE2: It routinely lasts 28-30 days between sub 10% remaining charges.
